Happy Birthday D&D

I cant begin to express my graitude to the creators of D&D, they taught me what a bec du corbin was, and that carring a 10 foot pole was a smart thing to do in a dungeon.

I love how the Christians are dancing and frollicking around the fire... just like a black mass.
Also, I like how the players get to determine the results of their proposed actions.
also, if I have several 20th level characters, how come *I've* never been introduced to the inner circle. I want to cast spells and make people buy me stuff.

I thought that was how we got stuff to review... you mean I've been working toward 20th level for nothing.

review material comes because of my good looks and charm only. I'm a 20th level Bard with a Charisma of 22 baby!

I read the article, but don't have much to say about it since I'm not a gamer.

It was interesting, though.

That Chick Tract is one of my personal favorites.  Right up there where the one where the Mormon missionaries get converted by the good Christian they visit while door-knocking.  The one about the Jehovah’s Witness who converts away just in time to save his daughter by letting her have a blood transfusion is pretty good too.

However, none are quite as good as that DnD one.  "I think it's time that you learn how to REALLY cast spells."  Heh.

My favorite is probaly the one that says the Holocaust was instagated by the Catholic church while still manageing to be very anti-semetic.  It basicly shows what type of person he is.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

However, this thread isn't about Chick (we've already had some about him...)

So, Happy B-Day D&D!

Some of the responses to the BBC article are hillarious. I want a +1 magic rat-on-a-stick.
