Gordon, you do realize that all of this whining just makes you look more juvenile and newbie, right?

Uh, I can live with that too... It was really more like a sarcastic joke than a serious comment.  Had I been serious I would of tried to be more convincing by supporting my comment with actual facts, such as I have been here longer and been more productive than many other members of the board, ect.  I don't really take these awards seriously as they were obviously meant as a joke.  Maybe I should just stop trying to be humourous with sarcasm as it only seems to be making me enemies...

sarcasm is the lowest form of wit.

Yes. All of the above "serious arguments" would not help your case at all, and would probably not help your image either.

Attempting to use sarcasm in a text-based media is not often pulled-off well. You might try using the "slash me" code to delinate your sarcasm.

There is a form of sarcasm which can be used where you mix in insults and factual evidence, and it is actually quite witty and effective in winning arguments, you just need to know how and when to use it.  Just plain sarcasm does get old, though...

Or, alternatively, you could realise that only I can use sarcasm effectively. Its a racial ability. Now go away, round-ears.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

I don't think I'd classify your particular style as "sacasm."
It's more off-beat humor.

round-ears.

Onion can back me up on this one, if anything I have the least round ears you have ever seen.  Imagine the fake elf ears you see in lord of the Rings, point them a little more and you have my ears.  Get your info right!  :P
