Now it says 2002 at RT but it's being realeased in theaters this year.  It's BC as elvis working with JFK (who happens to be african american now) chaseing down a mummy in a modern day retirement home.

I find it deeply disappointing that every Bruce Campbell movie in which he plays more than a bit part is rated R. What does a girl have to do?

It is the same disappointment I have over Once Upon a Time in Mexico, though I'm sure that one at least will be shown on TNT.

No. There are just as many crap-filled R movies as there are PG-13 movies.

The rating system is old news,  many movies are R rated because they wanted the R rating (they know it sells better) not because of Graphic sex, or bad language.

Eh I see what I like and make an informed decision about it then... If I am offended I walk out.

Actualy Jeffe R rated movies don't sell better then pg-13.  They're actualy harder to sell to a movie company since they generaly make less money.

Because we don't actually have numbers to back up that they fight for them. But we have over all cash revenues to show that that R movies dont' do as well. Look at the biggest hits of all time. Most of them aren't rated R

Thats not a fair representation though... how many top grossing films from the last 5 years wern't rated R?

All of them but the matrix reloaded.  And movie companies don't fight for R rateings.  The directors and producers do because of artistic vision.
