Miserable things go here

I hate Sundays.
Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams die, life is a broken winged bird that cannot fly.  Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow.  -Langston Hughes

MsFish, I finally understand what you told me once about Sundays--about opening up emotion. The same thing happened to me today.

But then it got better, so maybe I can't completely empathize.

Anyways, I love you I love you I love you and when are you going to come watch Peter Pan with me? He's flying away to Never Never Land (ie California) and if you don't watch it soon you'll lose your chance!

I hate that I had to miss our ward's R.S. Christmas concert because I need to finish this final project for my class tomorrow. :'(

Ari and I have food poisoning, and my case is really, really bad (well, relatively.  I've only been bedridden for a few hours today so far, and toilet-ridden a few other hours).

At our ward Christmas dinner we had ham and 'party' potatoes (aka funeral potatoes). Ye-hah.

Well, just don't eat the turkey.  Or stuffing.  Or whatever it was.

Not in Utah. At Utah ward Christmas parties (at least in Salt Lake) it's almost always ham. And either potatoes or fruit salad. Usually both.

They are working Karen to the bone, both at work and with the ward's Christmas choir thing. Something is going to crack from the stress before too long.
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

All this final review has stressed me out so much, I had a dream that I had one day to lose 100 lbs and actually felt like I could manage it... which is metaphorically how I feel about finals. Freud would be proud.

My cat's head is covering the left half of the keyboard, which makes it an interesting typing experience. But that's not what's miserable. My head hurts. I believe I've already told some of you how the lymph glands on the back of my head suddenly swelled up Friday afternoon, causing me a headache so bad I was nauseated?

I was going to call somebody tonight to talk because I get so bored when I'm sick, but then I realized that the only thing I really wanted to do was complain, so perhaps I shouldn't call.  :P I think I've used up my complaining-to-friends quota for the year. And probably a little into next year. I go to the dr. tomorrow morning. It was a little less swollen today, but it still hurts so bad.

So. I'm complaining here. So there.

You can call me. You haven't used up any of my "complaining to friends" quota.  :)
