It'd be nice to see the longer story comics in a different format,  similiar to the 6 page minicomic. I have no problem reading a meaty story if I can sit down and read a chunk-o-comic. I understand this is more work for the creator, but there's no reason he/she/it has to post more then once a week...I can even wait two weeks!

I'm sure there are some comics like that out there already, but I can't think of any right now. Can you?

Which do y'all prefer? Stand alone/one joke comic strips or serial/story comic strips? Personally I prefer one punch strips because I don't check sites frequently enough. So when I DO...I end up having to read an hours worth of comics! :-/

Just curious what you guys think...

my last serious relationship? well...i guess i knew it was over once i started getting the blisters...

...it was the skin discoloration that really did us in.

e: good point on the navigation. i should put in a button to the first comic. maybe another to an archive. (sigh) i really need to just revamp the whole site...it's time for spring cleaning. anybody got some free time to spare  ;)

tage: i grew up on the far side, so yeah...it makes sense. that and mad magazine!

Hey all...

The name's Porter. 26 years old, currently living with my wife (of 2 months today!) in Brooklyn, NYC. By day I work as a camera man and editor for a video production company. We currently produce a bass fishing show called Lunkerville (www.Lunkerville.com). By night (and early in the friggin' morning) I'm a writer and webcomic creator. My comic strip is a one-year old, weekly called CowPunch (www.CowPunch.com). Check it out if ya got time to waste, I'd love your thoughts. I'm also a comicbook writer with an ongoing story in Western Tales of Terror (issues 1-3) and in a week will be trying to shop a new horror/comedy comic called Dead Meat (preview to come soon!).

So far I love this site for it's great reviews of the dizzying amount of webcomics out there. Very in-depth, very intelligent. Also...this is an incredibly active board which is awesome! I look forward to meeting y'all, giving and hopefully getting some feedback on our creative projects.

Until then...well...no more time to waste.  :'( back to work for me!
