I think there might be something on Kelsier when OreSeur or TenSoon eats his bones.
-
I'm not sure I understand, but this has potential to be interesting! Haha
-
I'm sure. I don't understand.
-
I understand that I am confused.
-
Allow me to expound/ make something entirely random up.
What happens, Realmantically speaking, to Kelsier when someone takes his bones and "pretends" to be him? Because Lifeless do have some intelligence when they are brought back to life (see some of the annotations), and when a Returned in a normal body is brought to life as a Lifeless, there is even more intelligence.
So, what happens to Kelsier? Especially since he is a mistborn. Is there some residual Preservation-ness in his bones? Or is the fact that kandra can't do allomancy evidence that being a mistborn has to do with the soul, rather than just straight genetics.
Ooh, an even better question- what happens if a kandra eats Lerasium? What sort of person would they become? Especially since they need Hemalurgy to work.
See? You just have to read between the lines.

Brandon has always talked about "spiritual DNA" in relation to allomancy. Not sure what that means but it does seem to indicate that it's got something to do with the soul.

I wasn't confused before, but I am now...

Yeah, the "soul" would definitely be the most fitting thing for "spiritual DNA". I wonder if all of his magic systems are also based around "spiritual DNA". I would say that all of the Mistborn ones do, because they are closely linked with each other, but what about the Dor or the system in Warbreaker (its been awhile since I read it, I forget what its called exactly).
Maybe there is a "deeper" connection between the Shards and their magic systems, and humans. For some reason this makes me think of demigods, like Preservation creating kids with a human. Obviously this isn't true, but for some reason thats what I think of haha.

Seriously? That sucks. What are you using?
-
the 'm' dash? Ok. And I am using microsoft word. Maybe I am typing it wrong? however, I doubt it. it works everywhere else. grr. ;)

That or you get the random thin rectangles, and everyone else is talking about what is being said.
And you don't.
And you hang your head in shame. grrrr

@zas678
It is much easier to read between the lines when the OP has more than one line :-)
-
Unless you're an Iron-eye. ;)

Unless everything we're saying is what's between the lines and the OP is just waiting for the conversation to end so they can bookend it.
