He didn't have to say it was bad I chat with him enough to know what he thinks of the subject and I know he thinks the world is too repressed.

I think that repression can go either way. On one hand, there are some instincts, feelings, and thoughts that need to be kept in check, but you have to be careful to not take it too far. If you repress yourself too much, you can end up acting like someone completely apart from the person that you really are, which leads to another set of problems. Or, over time, you could be worn down from the stress of never being allowed to engage in the behaviors you repress. In this case, I don't necessarily have an opinion, I would just like to add that I think that both sides make too big a deal on this topic. True, sexuality plays a large part in life, but I don't see why people care so much about things like sexuality in literature.

Mod: Fuzzy, can I get in on these ticket sales?

Repression (Two-Fisted Tales)
Edge
Cost: Arch Arch 2

When you play this card, choose a designator that has not been chosen for another "repression" in play. All Characters with that designator gain -1 Fighting.

Yes, arbitrarily place control is repression.

But what's arbitrary about logical limits for reasonable causes?

If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)
