I dont think we have proof yet that the language does come from Sel. And maybe the people from Sel are also migrants from the original planet, and also brought the language with them like the people on Roshar.

Maybe the language is the one that Rock speaks. He speaks a few lines of it when startled. Maybe that's the Dawnchant. (unlikely, but still...)
