Ignorant Fan of WoK Here With a Question...
« on: September 14, 2010, 05:20:40 AM »
Okay so I read WoK and loved it, and now I found this place and see people discussing WoK in conjunction with some of Brandon's other works. I thought WoK was a separate series on a different world/reality from his others series, was I incorrect? And if so, how are they connected...without too many spoilers?

All of his books save the Librarians (Can't remember real name) take place in the same "universe" called Cosmere, all the books come in chronological order so it goes, Elantris, Mistborn Series, Warbreaker, WoK.

I propose a sticky "Intoduction to the cosmere" thread. I think this is maybe the third thread in the last few days asking if WoK and the like are all related.

Scribbler (his new YA book that comes out next year) is also independent of the Cosmere.

We don't know the exact chronology.  But yeah, all of Brandon's books save for Alcatraz and WoT are in the same shared universe called the Cosmere.

I agree, we need a Cosmere introduction thread.
