Is Scribbler a Shard book?  God, I haven't been around here in months.  I'm forgetting things I knew.

... What was the name of the Shard in Warbreaker?  :-\

Well if it's anything like Alcatraz, it won't be. From the chapter or so I've read, it doesn't really seem to fit into the Adonalsium framework.

No it's not a Shardworld.  It's a steampunk book that takes place on Earth.

Hey that's certainly awesome too.

One gets me to go "hell yeah, a Sharworld book!" and one gets me to go "Awesome, a Sanderson book!"

The difference is small, but not important.

Well, so much for my note to Peter asking if I could mention this, yet.

I hadn't read on here for a few days. Am staying away until I get through WoK, which only arrived yesterday.

On the other hand, amazon got me my copy of WoK yesterday, when they had told me I wouldn't see it until next week. Which means it arrived on time for the Orlando signing last night.

Was fun to meet Brandon in person, and get to speak to him. The WOT bumper stickers were cool, as well.

And while I got my books signed, I asked about Scribbler and the possibilities of it being the next Y/A, and he said look for it in Fall of 2011, which obviously is no sort of secret at this point.

He also mentioned something else to me about a certain thesis which was nice to hear, however.  ;)

A copy has been recovered? :o

No ... but not all hope is yet lost for those who hope for a chance to read this. Don't feel like I can say any more at this point, though. Don't want to lose my head to the evil overlord.

Evil Undead Overlord.
There's a difference between what's best and what's right. What's best might be different tomorrow or the day after, but right and wrong will stay the same after a thousand years.

I don't want to lose my head to either kind!

Let me put it this way ... if the current copy stays lost long enough, it might be available in the same way Scribbler has been.

That should be cryptic enough to avoid my death.
