The Color of Vin's Eyes
« on: May 25, 2010, 12:09:55 AM »
Quick question: I am in the process of doing some pixel art of Vin, and I was wondering what color her eyes are? You can lock or delete this thread once I get the answer. Thanks for all the fish! :)

I don't know if it's ever been established. I treat them as a dark color, brown or black. But I could easily be wrong about that.

When she tells Elend that she made him emperor, her eyes are referred to as "dark"

All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

Peter, that was awesome!
"The custom of royalty in referring to oneself is to naturally employ the royal 'we'.  We are very happy, we are very sad, we are bored and suffer from ennui.  For a royal prince there's no such word as 'me', It's always 'we'.  So rightfully I should be two or three, don't you agree?"

BAUGH! I hate it when alpha readers know more than I do. I just knew they had a lower social status.

That's it. I say that we should make an Anti-Alpha club, for those dedicated members that only know what's been published. We should call ourselves... The Omegas!!

What do you think?

I'll be an Omega. I don't want to read anything prior to it being published. I don't want anything to be spoiled. I enjoy reading some of the deleted scenes afterward, I like the annotations, and I even read the preview chapters Mr. Sanderson puts up on his website prior to release, but those are in finished form, so I don't think that counts.

Does the prologue to Way of Kings in the Warbreaker paperback count as published?  Cuz I wanna be an Omega, but I want to read that so much more.

It does count as published, but it does not count as being in finished form. So you have to decide.

Well, the Omegas should set a rule about that in case of future occurences like this.  I say that it's published so we can read it, agreed?

I agree with Fireborn. If it is available to the general public, then it is Omega-approved.
