just thought i'd share this with everyone.

Note that it's rather lengthy (about 40 minutes), and the guy talks about various things that are used commonly these days to get people to buy things that have no real backing to their claims (he focuses a lot of various alternative medicine stuff)

Note that he isn't exactly saying "reject everything that isn't approved by the medical community" but rather "doubt what you hear about outrageous claims" and recommends looking into it further.

Interesting. Personally I'm not superstitious, in fact I'm atheist. But when it comes to fantasy writing, I love the unknown and superstitions. All my stories though have gods, religions, superstitions. I think the whole superstitious argument and people's reaction to them is very interesting, and adds depth to any fantasy novel.
