Found the coolest thing
« on: March 09, 2010, 10:17:22 AM »

So I just found this while surfing the intertubes.

. . . . I signed up for some extra hours and the end of the week to have the extra cash to buy one.

(I say cash . . . . I really never see physical cash.)

Wait... what is that? It looks like an iPod with an Alcatraz skin, but the headphone jack is in the wrong place...  ???
This propaganda has been brought to you by High Priest and Occasional Pope Archbishop Shivertongue Von Slamdance VI, of the Vibrating Purple cabal of POEE (Paratheoanametamystikhood Of Eris Esoteric). All rights ignored. Salvation not available in Idaho. Hail Eris. All Hail Discordia. Fnord?

Our library has these. They are great for car trips.

WHOA.  I've never seen anything like this!  That's way cool!  What other books have this kind of setup?
When to live is to die, and to die is to live, does either really matter?

Our favorite is Maynard Moose, but perhaps you don't have to placate numerous small children. Our library has a whole section. Classics, YA and children's books. They are great, though I can't remember the publisher (or whatever you would call the people making these things.) I think they are much better for the library because they are harder to damage than CDs. No Wheel of Time though, I don't think they have enough memory.
