They're moving Jay Leno because . . .

Too many people watch Jay Leno instead of the News so affiliates are threatening to cancel because their ratings are too low.   :D

I found this very humorous.

No. People don't watch Leno, so they're not still watching their TVs when the news comes on.

O.e  But (as far as I could understand) they just said on the news or something that was on TV that that's why they were moving it was because people were watching Jay Leno and they weren't watching News so ratings were going down.

Jay Leno does the same darn talk show that hasn't changed in over 20 years = bad entertainment.

I know... when they moved him, I thought the show was going to be new or different somehow. But it was really just The Tonight Show moved to 9pm. Boooring...

This can't be true. It sounds like something from The Onion.

TV news is failing because it sucks. It's always sucked, of course, but now that we have the Internet, we're all starting to wake up and realize just how bad it really is. When I can go online and read or watch only the news stories I want in whatever order I want, what use do I have for traditional news programming?

Of course, to admit that would be to admit to their own irrelevance, and denial is easier. So they blame it Leno instead, whose show also sucks? Seriously, how do you sell that? Leno seems like an all-around good guy from what I can see, but his talk show is dreadfully boring, and I don't know anyone that watches it.

Leno's ratings are down. It's like i said. People are turning off their TVs.

Sorry that I'm late to the party, but - I HATE JAY LENO.  He's one of the least funny entertainers I have ever had the displeasure of watching.  Conan was hilarious - bugatti veyron mouse... I died.  :)
