It's a demo using nothing but javascript and HTML5.  So in other words, this is all just webpage coding.

Throw some openGL into the mix, and imagine the quality we can squeeze into games just in a web browser! :O

It's cool that Javascript has come that far!

In a similar vein (pushing the envelope of what web tech can do), here's a very impressive demo that uses WebKit's 3D CSS transforms. You need a recent Safari (might work in Chrome? Dunno) to see it, or you can just watch the video.
