Or maybe she's an infodump for the reader?

I do hope there is somewhat more to her character than that.  Although the way it was developed was pretty funny and in character.

It seems the secure perimeter is about to be assaulted by mobs of adoring fans. The Toughs are used to infamy, but can they handle fame?

Also, never trust a celeb-rag reporter. All they want is dirt.
