Punishment for Chaos
« on: October 03, 2009, 12:26:18 AM »
So if you want a punishment that isn't on the list, I'll add it if you tell me.  I wasn't sure how long we wanted a term to be either, so I said November first, because that puts the term at about 1 year, which seems reasonable. If you want to shorten the term to a different date, vote for option 2, then post here what you would like to be the shortened term (Yes, at this point, anything is a shortened term, because we don't actually have a defined term).

Remove no penalty he has to atleast run again or the impeachment was pointless...

Where's my tarred and feathered option? That's always the most appropriate punishment.

I thought I should leave it up there, since there were some people who voted to convict Chaos, but didn't really seem to think he'd done much wrong.

It doesn't matter, though, because he won't win through that option. He'll have to at least run for re-election.

I didn't realize "so there" was considered a valid argument.

I didn't realize that asking a question was a valid refutation of a non-existent argument.

Sorry for the double post, but I now feel obligated to point out to all of those who are putting their votes on "Combination of Options 2 and 4" that by the time Chaos runs for re-election, the term would be over already. Unless of course, we just shortened the term to some other date. But I like November, because it is a one-year term.

Basically what I'm saying is you people should vote for option 1. That way we guarantee that Chaos gets ousted (we're right now experiencing a similar issue to the one we had while impeaching him, where his supporters all vote to save him, but his opposition is divided. He's not actually ahead, but he's moving in that direction).

Or at least change it to 2. It makes more sense. In fact, I'd probably delete options 4 and 5 if I was convinced I could do so without making the current poll counts public knowledge.

You're a meanie-head.

Also, why would the term end on November 1st?

Cuz I picked it. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Actually, it was more because I remembered Hero of Ages coming out in October of last year, and knew you'd been elected just before that. I figured I'd just make it November 1st for a roughly one-year term.

Ah, but Hero of Ages came out October 14th. Therefore, on yearly terms, I'd have until October of next year. No one ever has terms that are years + a few days. That is madness, but I suppose that is what I can expect from haters like you ;)

Well, on yearly terms, you'd technically already be out of office. Thank me later.

Vote for one b/c impeaching a hero is SOOO much fun!!! Game point for villanry (did i make that word up just now, if so it rocks). Yearly elections means everyone will have there signatures set as Ex- Hero of Ages.
