Precisely. All though, if we don't set a term limit (which I don't think we should) someone could technically hold the title several years running, helping to alleviate this not-really-a-problem.

But honestly, share the love, allow everyone a chance to temporarily be the Hero of Ages.

Ha ha. Ok, so we'll start taking nominations for the new Hero of Ages in another thread. We also need to set a term. I vote one year, with each hero taking office on November 1st, and elections beginning on October 1st (We're a little behind. So we'll just run shorter polls).

Fun side note, since I was runner-up Hero of Ages, with Chaos removed, I'm acting Hero of Ages until we get a replacement. Which, as promised, will be soon. I'll go start the nominations thread now.

Actually, I think I did mention in the first thread about whether or not to impeach Chaos that if he was removed, I would become the temporary Hero of Ages. My primary duty right now is to get a new Hero into office as quickly as possible. Any other powers that come are just a bonus. Plus, I actually plan to use my position as it was intended, rather than to tyrannize others as Chaos did. That way I can leave a nice clean start for my successor.

See the Nominations thread for rules on nominations, and to propose alternate terms, etc for the office of Hero of Ages. With me being Acting Hero of Ages, my word is the eventual law, but I will base my opinion off of what the people tell me. In this way, we can be sure that the law is clearly stated for future Hero of Ages elections, but that it will be fair. If I do not decide in favor of the most popular option, I hereby state that the people of TWG can override my decision with a majority vote, though they'll have to get one fast since we're putting a new hero in on November 1st. If you feel I am neglecting any opinion, or am not making decisions based accurately off of the general consensus, please feel free to pm me about it. I will take any and all opinions into account.
