I'm sorta with you, Ryos. The "written in blood" thing kinda makes me yawn and roll my eyes a bit. But I do love the cooler covers and the starkness of the German cover.

I think the UK cover (aside from being VERY YA) is a bit too plain…too much open space of a color that is kind of…unrealistic, if that makes any sense. (IMO)

The book is much cooler to hold in your hand.  It has this shreaded pages thing that is pretty intense.

Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

There's a name for that type of binding. Darned if I can remember what it was, though.

Is that like how it was with the Lemony Snicket books?

The German cover is awesome.  And I also think it's better than the UK one.  I can't wait for the American version.   :D

How many languages has the book been published in, out of curiosity?

It has been published in English and German. We have also sold Complex Chinese (which covers Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macao) and as of today we just sold Croatian.

Croatian?  Wow, I didn't even know that was a language.  Congrats!
