They are both real.

The Rabbit is exceptional and won some awards. The picture actually makes it look bigger then it really is (but its still freakin huge).

The crab is an average Coconut Crab, they really do get that big.

Don't bunnies usually kick when they are held? and if so, shouldn't that guy be very hurt... alot?

Also, crabs are awesome! I once dreamed of owning a Kingler from Pokemon. ;D

Erik, you beat me to it.

I hear that coconut crabs make excellent eating, but they're harder to come by these days.  I've never tried it, myself.  Where was the photo taken?  Pacific South?

That is really cool and yet a little freaky. How does a bunny get that huge!!!???
Nature's first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

I'm pretty sure that's a wild one. It's not exceptional in size, they are OFTEN that big. (Just look up Coconut Crab on google and browse the images).

BTW, they are called Coconut Crabs because they like to crush coconuts with their claws and then eat the insides.

Um, they also call them Palm Thieves because they like to go into houses or tents and steal shiny things . . . usually pots and pans.

They also probably represent: "the upper limit of how big terrestrial animals with exoskeletons can become."

Although, now that I've read that I'm going to have to look up to see if there were any bigger in the prehistoric eras, they mades 'em big back then!

(Cause, you know,  I might want to use giant man eating Coconut Crabs in a book one day. Like ones twice as big as those . . . )

Looks like they DID have something bigger.

Fossils of the Eurypterid have been found that are over 6-8 feet long. I can't verify if this is real or not, but they basically looked like this:

(Just sometimes bigger)  :D

Apparently the biggest living arthropod is only THIS big:

Screw Zombies, I'm now waiting for the Arthropod Apocalypse! (Those things just need to learn how to breathe on land).
