On the bright side, at least most of  your classes are cool, Shag.

I'm pretty sure I'm not desensitized to caffeine - I rarely drink soda. However, I have been known to down large amounts of Dr. Pepper with no noticeable effects in the past.

As for sugar, I think that's due more to metabolism than anything. I don't know what a sugar high is, because instead of burning it off my body converts it to fat and tucks it away for a rainy day. I have a roommate who's skinny as a rail, and he claims he wants to get fat but can't because, if he increases his caloric intake, it just makes him super hyper.

As for grumpiness, I got sick yesterday and stayed in bed all day. :(

Ryos, Green tea with ginger and honey, and a big bowl of Hot & Sour soup.  Cure's what ails ya. :)

That's true. *nods* And I enjoy them; all the work is just kind of building up.
And the weird thing at my school is, except for first term freshmen, in my school, on the Junior Schoolers (7th + 8th graders) are allowed to take 6 courses. So some of us take more than freshmen-through-seniors.

Hey, no one should be forced to put up with that musical or book.

I've never read the book, but I always found the musical enjoyable.  Then again, I love musicals.

Oliver is what I hate about musicals. The songs don't advance the plot—there's really no point to them in the musical besides providing music.
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

I recently realized I have been self-medicating depression with large amounts of caffeine and sugar: Dr. Pepper is my drug of choice.  I have been drinking 44 oz or more every day and loosing weight because that's all I ingest during the day.
Didn't have any this weekend and figured out what was going on.  I have  a real Dr appt this Fri.
Shaggy, looking at your schedule made me realized how much I don't miss school.  I rarely have a crazy schedule like that anymore, because as an adult, I tell people to go away when things get too much, except for my children and they are easily appeased with pizza and a new (rental) video game.
Yes, I am an evil mother, but only when my Dr. Pepper runs out.

This post brought to you you by "Those who are at least one thread page behind"!

I know how the "fun classes, but totally overwhelming" thing goes. I was in all "fun" classes this semester, and I honestly barely made it through. I've been pulling one all-nighter a week like clockwork for the last ... month and a half, at least? just in an attempt to get things done.

Miyabi: The link to my band is in my signature. (It still says "swing" instead of "big band", I should probably change it to "Big Band" now...) There are no sound samples on the website yet 'cause I haven't had time. But I will in the next week or so. :D

Renoard: Certain people who probably would've enjoyed the one Eddings book they've actually read a lot more if they'd discovered Eddings ten years ago haven't been submitting or critting because they've been too busy frantically trying to finish the book they said would be done a week ago. Certain people who admit that a certain assassin from Sendar actually kind of cool also figure they should wait until they're not so exhausted they can barely string sentences together to start giving opinions on peoples' work.

Besides, "tardy" implies a deadline. I wasn't aware we had one, not for this group. ;)
