I'd take it.  You get something you want, and really all you have to do is try out for a show that you MIGHT win money on. *shrugs*

It's just so... so... so gimmicky! *explodes*

And yet, the Dark Side - the Dark Side - the problem with the Dark Side is it has logic on its side!

...Oh man. It truly IS the Dark Side.

This show isn't a musical variety talent show is it?  Cause then I'd negate my earlier comments and encourage to try it.

It's an Idol-style talent show (with an excruciatingly dumb name). From what little I've seen of it, I do have to grant that they don't go for the stupid dramatization that the actual Idol shows do... but it's still a gimmick. ::)

You could just go and do it, only do a really bad job (on purpose) and get out of it that way.

XD I could. Except even if I do it badly, they still might do something silly like, I don't know, put it on TV.

Some day I'm gonna be famous,
Do I have talent - well, no
These days you don't really need it,
Thanks to reality shows...

I should play that song on Saturday. ::)

Also, grumpiness: Nasty blister on my heel. Thing's bigger than a nickel. :(

I would, except they pick the audition songs. You have to choose between the four they pick or some such thing. ::)

Now that is ridiculous. What if none of the songs are appropriate for your voice and vocal style, or instrument/instrumental style?
