I went to a concert on Friday. The band was We Shot the Moon, and they were fantastic. I went with my sisters, and we were in the mosh pit. Literally right next to the stage. Front middle, and the lead singer was pretty much right in front of me, and we made eye contact for a good 10-15 seconds a couple times while he was singing my favorite song by them. So that was great.

I finally got all the band members to sign my jacket that I bought at their last concert. And they all signed a poster....And I got pictures with all of them. I wish I'd got one with all of them together, but alas, I had to get them all separate. Oh well. It was still awesome.

And also, last week on Wednesday (I've been working on a research paper hence why this wasn't posted then), I went to country dancing here at school, and I danced with the guy I like and he said something really nice after the song, and I was pretty much bouncing off the walls for the rest of the night. It was slightly pathetic...And then I saw him the next 3 nights for various reasons, when normally I don't see him at all until Sunday night (generally). So that was even better.....

Yes. I am a dork. A boy-crazy dork, but oh well. :P

I had my ultrasound and I am having a boy! Not until the end of March, but I like knowing ahead of time. That will even us out, gender-wise.

The amount of money (nearly $6000) matches the amount of care-package slips I have. This is a wonderful day, as it means I don't have to dig through three hundred checks to find the discrepancy. I am immensely, immensely happy for myself.

Referring to me, EUOL said, "Oh hey, yeah, that's a friend,"  during his card game. =]

Love the fact he recognizes me even by screen name.

So my roommate and I decided we wanted to prank one of the apartments in the guys complex near us. So we set up everything we were going to do and have been working on it since Saturday. The prank involved TPing their living room and on one of the walls posting "Roses are red, violets are blue...." and then 21 notecards with a different ending. A funny, creative ending. Like "Everyone here belongs in a zoo," "You were raised in a stinky, old, shoe", "You are a chicken and have no clue," and other such things.

Our goal in this prank was to get the guys in the apartment to blame it on two other girls apartments. We figured the guys would think these two other apartments would be more likely to do it. Well, tonight, we did the prank. Pulled it off successfully, and it really couldn't have been better. Except for the fact that I snapped my scotch tape container in the race to get out of the apartment when we thought the guys were back, which they weren't--we were just being paranoid.

Anyway. A couple guys from the apartment came by wanting to know if we had anything to do with it, which of course we said no. They didn't believe us. So when my roommate blew the deal, confirming to them that we had in fact been involved, we made sure to pull one of the other apartments in it as well--blaming the majority of the prank on them. Which the guys believed. We even managed to get the whole fact that all the guys were out of the apartment on the other girls apartment, saying they were the diversion. The guys believed this too. And then when they said they were going to prank them in retaliation, we asked if we could help. And they said yes.

So pretty much, I just pulled off a prank, blamed it on 2 other apartments and now get to help prank those two apartments in retaliation for a prank they didn't pull. Life could not be better for me right now....

You learn so much more at college off campus.  ;D
We have seven inches of snow, and it is still coming down. School is cancelled. I live in Moab, it never snows like this here.
