German a dead language??? I'd like to see that citation. (It's spoken in far more than 2 countries, even.)
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

I don't have a citation for it. All I know is that that was what someone in administration told the professor who teaches the language when he asked what was going on. They never consulted him at all in the process, and by the time he found out, he couldn't do anything about it. And they wouldn't tell him who had started it to begin with. They just told him to back off because it was happening whether he wanted it to or not.

He told us about it last fall. He'd been under the impression that it was just the lower levels, and that at least RM's would be able to jump into the program at the 201 stage, but no. They phased that out over this past summer, and now I'm stuck without having taken 201....

But yeah....That's my biggest irritation right now. Not that it belongs in this thread....

Class started two weeks ago for me. This week I tested out of two of my classes, leaving me with only three to attend. Awesome.

My brother's car broke, so he's going to be using one of the bikes in my stable to get to college. This is good because I've been trying to get him to go mountain biking with me for ages.

Just two weeks of biking five miles each way to and from school on hilly terrain does amazing things for a person's physical fitness. Especially when you're on a 166.66% gain singlespeed.

I built a new computer today. It went off without a hitch, which never happens. Well, Korean font support isn't working, but that's a simple fix....

Finally got an hour to start Aquaria: Sacrifice. I love it when someone puts so much effort into a mod for a game, especially when that game is Aquaria.

I'm going to a concert tonight! It's in Rexburg and the band is We Shot the Moon. They're a super fantastic indie alt rock band. I'm really excited.

Chaos has been officially impeached...but will the charges stick?

I'm completely hyped up from that concert. I bought a hoodie, and had two of the band members sign it. And got pictures with them both....I would've gotten the rest too, but they weren't to be found. Lots of videos too...Ah. It was so much fun. They're such huge fans of Rexburg (it's their favorite place to play) that they're even coming back again this semsester. In November. I am so going to that one as well.

And Chaos has been impeached? Wow....That's unexpected.

Not to be a spoilsport, but every band at every concert I've ever been to has said how much they love the town and love playing there. Now, it's possible that Denver is just great, but I have a hard time wrapping my head around what's so great about the Muse Music in Provo. My money says they're just building goodwill with the fans...

Oh, I understand that, but I don't think it's the case with this band. I watched an interview that they did (I think they're the ones who filmed it too), and every one of them said Rexburg was their favorite place to play....which I thought was odd, yet very cool at the same time. Now after being at the concert, I'm not surprised.

Know what? Mondays aren't all bad. For example, it means new comics from the many thrice-a-week-ers out there, so that's nice.

Still awesome? When was Dr. Pepper ever awesome?

Coke all the way!!!

Ever since my body has an immediate physical response to Dr Pepper being in my mouth, that's when it was awesome.

I'm like a druggee.

(Okay, I tried to spell "druggee" three times, and I have no idea on how to spell it. I'll pray to Dr Pepper that He will sort it out.)

I agree, Dr. Pepper is muchly much better than Coke. And failing that, even Pepsi is better. Coke is pretty much just a failure at being a carbonated beverage.
