Daniel Radcliff in the movies though. . .

Oh. I've never watched the movies and have no idea about the actors.

This wasn't a movie, it was a stage production which was put up on Youtube. Amateur and unofficial but - I do not say this lightly - actually quite well done.

Hilariously irreverent and inaccurate, but that's half the fun.

Happy things: Open mic tonight was fun. Will try to make this a habit. Whee.

I'm happy that my nearsister has invited me for a month to Omaha! And she's going to pay for it ;D Her hubby is going out on some month-long training thingiemabob so I'm going to help her with her one year old Bethany and attend one of my favorite churches in Lincoln! Though I'm a bit nervous about visiting Union College again, I think I may be quite mopey when I get back because I'll miss it. Never thought I'd be excited about being in Nebraska again! The flatness is a sort of claustrophobia to me but opposite? I wonder if there is a term for that...but a month is long enough I won't go too crazy missing my mountains ;D

What's a nearsister?  Is that a 7DA thing, or...?

Inaccurate and yet...surprisingly accurate. That's at least half the fun.

Dumbledore: I'll just put all the good guys in Gryffindor, all the bad guys in Slitherin, and the rest can just go wherever the hell they want.
Cedric: What about Hufflepuff?
Dumbledore: What the HELL is a "Hufflepuff"?

;D

*grins* That's exactly it. They got it so deliberately wrong... but it's so right.

The writing and especially the staging are really clever, I think. And I don't think listening to so much of this music is healthy. ; ;

Note to self: Drop the stupid volcano story, write musical version of The Ringing Horn instead.

ETA: I love Cedric's reaction to that quote you posted, too. He just shrugs and sits back down. Without. A. Word.

So funny. :D

Wait. You're in Mexico? What are you doing here?! ;)

Just rode my bike down the Provo River Parkway Trail, which runs pretty much from my doorstep all the way down to the shore of Utah Lake. ~10 miles round trip. So awesome! Next time, there will be photos.  8)

I should ride my unicycle on it.
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

People were rather generous at Ari's bridal shower...

I have almost doubled the length of my short story in the last two hours. I am ecstatic! If I keep this rate, I'll have 30 pages of story by tomorrow evening and will (hopefully) be finished with it. This is good. Especially since I gave permission to a friend to punish me cruelly if it's not done by Wednesday....
