The steelhead are spawning, and I'm going fishing tomorrow.   ;D

Good luck, CthulhuKefka.
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

I'm happy because it's warm. In Idaho. In March....This happens only rarely....Although I think I heard it was going to rain and snow tomorrow...which reminds me that this IS Idaho in March....Oh well.

I'm also happy because my aunt called me this morning, asking for my address, because she and couple other members of that side of my family want to help me pay for the British Literary Tour I'm going on next month! I was very surprised. And grateful. I was so happy and thankful that I even cried when I got off the phone. It was awesome! My family rocks!

I am happy because I had a successful fishing trip on Saturday. On the third cast I hauled in an eight pound steelhead. the rest of the day we got skunked, but I did catch a fish. Other than a couple of mis-haps which involved me falling in the water it was a good day. The first time I tripped on a log and only went in up to my elbows. The second time however I went all the way in. The water filled up my waders and boy was it cold. Of course I had my cell phone in my pocket and it got wet, but I took the battery out of it and set it on my cars defroster vent and it seems ok now.

Yay you!  I'm impressed!  I can't even shake my chocolate addiction, I can't imagine how much harder nicotine would be.  Keep us posted on your progress.

Are you using the patches or did you just…stop?

Thanks all.  8)

I used one patch, then got bored with them. They itched. Just going on pure willpower right now.

Congrats, keep it up.  You can do it! ;D

Yeah, I found out the hard way that I'm allergic to the patch.  And the gum didn't really help.  If I'm gonna quite, its gotta come from just not wanting to do it any more.

But here's one to you for doing it.
**tips hat**

Good luck.

Good luck on the quitting.  My father has been tapering off for years now, but still hasn't managed it all the way.

I am home with no relatives in the house!  Went to a great funeral today though, the type that makes you want to be better so that people will say such nice things about you when you're dead.  It was my husband's uncle, so not a lot of emotional attachment, but inspiring, in a weird way.

My father feares me, I was not allowed on his fathers deathwake.
