One down, one to go!
« on: December 13, 2004, 11:34:58 PM »
One class now finished! Turned in the final paper today and we had our last day of class. Now, just have to finish this other paper and turn it in by Thursday afternoon, then I'm free!

I'm so not in the mood to work on it. I've kind of already checked out mentally. But it has never gone beyond that first draft I finished before Thanksgiving, so here I go again.

This is the first semester I've had in my grad program that I haven't also had to work at the same time. Which means I haven't had any pressure on me from other things that I can blame any poor performance on and/or just say it doesn't matter if I don't do well. Which makes me put a lot of pressure on myself to do well, if you follow. Nothing to blame but my laziness if I don't do great this semester.

So, I freaked out from time to time. Like this afternoon, when I realized that I could really use another week to get my paper to where I want it to be. But it was due at 6, so I had to turn it in as-is. It's okay, though. Not great, but still pretty good, I guess.

Best part: It's done. Done! Done, done, done.

Whew.

Yay stacer, and good luck everyone still working on deadlines.

Karen had her C# final on Wednesday night. At last! She didn't even get the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving off...but no more!
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!
