Schlock Mercenary arrives at TWG!

Our hosts at Time-Waster's Guide have generously offered to provide some community space for Howard Tayler of Writing Excuses and Schlock Mercenary fame. Thanks, guys!

The body of my work can be found at www.schlockmercenary.com, and it spans the last eight and a half years. Books are available at store.schlockmercenary.com, but the hard-core Time-Waster should be trawling the online archives.

It's nice sharing a community with Brandon and Dan. We go to a lot of the same events, so it makes sense to share community space with them here.

It's also nice having the various Schlock communities "partitioned" across cyberspace. It's more convenient to my fans if the communities exist where they already are (Facebook, Keenspot, Blank Label, TWG, Nightstar) than if they have to create a login for someplace new (though some fans do exactly that.)

The community can decide for itself how to differentiate. I suspect it will be a significantly different thanks to the local flavor TWG brings, but it's not really up to me.

Welcome, Howard.  I got to attend a class you taught once (for Brandon), and really enjoyed what you had to say.  I hope you decide to spend more than 20 minutes here in the future.

It's good to see you here Howard.  Folks, if you haven't read Schlock Mercenary, I highly recommend that you go take a look!  Just be sure to allocate yourself plenty of time.  At one strip a day for eight and a half years, you're looking at over 3,000 strips!

Yay Howard! They finally got you over here ;).

I find it amusing that you are the ultimate reason I ended up here. Started reading Schlock a while ago, and fell in love with the  characters. Was really excited when I found the Writing Excuses link and wandered into there as well. Then everyone was nice enough to start up a section on the forum here for the crazy writing prompts...So basically you are to blame for any insanity I have unleashed in these forums ;).
