How about Christmas Cake?

I always thought it was just a strange Japanese pseudo-Western thing like White Day, but apparently non-Japanese Christmas Cakes really do exist in the UK, Ireland, and other such countries (plus the Philippines).

...Well, there is fruitcake in the US which has holiday connotations, but it's never called Christmas Cake.

Snow flakes?  I see snowmen on the list but we don't really get snow where I'm at so that's out for me.  But having Snow on or around Christmas is always a big deal down here.  So the symbol is heavily present.

I don't suffer from insanity...  I enjoy every minuet of it!

It's ok to be strange, as long as it's on paper. :)

Added snowflakes and holiday food.

Yule logs are popular in some places, etc.

For me, Christmas always has been cookie season.  It's a family thing.  This year, lacking my grandmother, we still managed to make English Shortbreads, Filled Cookies (in raisin, strawberry, peach, apricot, and marmalade flavors), brownies, and caramel (it counts).  Oh, and caramel ice cream (doesn't really count, but still yummy).

What about gifts and presents?

It's not the first thing that comes to mind, but I do always remember the small warehouse of presents my family would open on Christmas morning and into the afternoon. (We don't actually give each other a lot of gifts on Christmas, it's just a large family.)

I thought yule logs were a kind of firewood.

I thought yule logs were a kind of firewood.

It is both wood and a cake.

So there really is no difference between a "yule log" and a regular old peice of wood, right? It's just a log that you burn to celebrate Christmas/holidays? And i agree with 42 about the presents, my family is religious too, but we give each other quite a few gifts, not to mention my aunts/uncles

Hmm...

Food. Gingerbread men is key to  good holiday fun.

I can't really add snow, since it usually always snows near Christmas and it's just taken for granted come the holiday season.  :D

Well it's kind of more of a christmas survey than a holiday survey….just pointing that out.

I like Penguins for Christmas iconery. :)

I wouldn't say santa, because I don't really like most of the santas that I've seen. What I like are the mysterious, tall, skinny santas.  The fat ones just smack too much of comercialism. :)

I was in Arizona once and there was a Santa there and it was hysterical because he was completely drunk and practically tripping over his toes.
