Personally I find the flavor of pork distasteful and never eat it.  On the other hand, the cure is good.

I've got a recipe for Sweet & Sour Pork that might change your mind.  It's exquisite, especially with the sweet & sour sauce I make to go on the side (for those who like a more intense flavor)...

Wow, Baconnaise as a deal of the day. That's a positively scary thought.

So, two days ago I ordered the fried chicken at a sit-down restaurant. It came with a biscuit which had country gravy on it. You know what was on top of the country gravy? Bacon. Not bacon bits, either; it was actual cooked bacon chopped into manageable segments.

I now heartily support all the vendors of country gravy to adopt this tactic. It is brilliance.
