Outlook: Both excited and overwhelmed.  I'm glad I actually hit my goal today, even though it took me like all day and I doubt what I've written will surivie past the first edit.  But I also am realizing that this might be a bit harder then expected if I can't figure out some way of ignoring my distractions.  Anyone have any suggestions for ways for an ADHD person to ignore the distractions?

I do a couple of things.  One:  I reward myself when I hit my goal for the day.  Two:  When my thoughts scatter and i can't really rein them in.  I stop fighting it and take a break for a couple a minutes.  This seems to help so far, but it's only been 4 days.  Oh, and I've made out a schedule to help keep me on track.  Which I've kept so far:  6,666 for the day, cheers!

I passed 12,500 this morning. Yay for making it to the quarter-way point!

Sweeet! I think it's actually you who needs to prod me and not the other way around. I was sick sick yesterday and am behind. I have about 1000 more words before I reach my goal for the day. I think I'll get there, though, before I go to bed. /crosses fingers

Wow, I had 4102 after day 2 but then I skipped a few days. Those skipped days can really hurt you. Day 5 I wrote 3003 words, so I'm only 1500 words behind?

Day1:1737  :)                  Day2:2365  :D             Day 3:0     :-[          Day 4:0    ???             Day 5:3003     ;D

I have trouble believing I've kept up with this for six days already.  I guess competition is a really good motivator for me. I'm up to 10775 words.
If I had any clue, would I be here?

Phew. Got my quota in for the day.

Everyone should at least be to 10,000 if they are doing the minimum each day. 1/5 of the way there :D

Ouch... my brain hurts now.  I didn't write yesterday because I was insanely busy, so I wrote it all today.  And then I was a bit behind where I should be, so I made that up as well.  But I can't complain too much because I am feeling really proud of myself at the moment for catching up.  Now I just have to hope I don't fall behind again.

Wow, that was freaking hard to get done today.  I'm discovering that I have no problem when I'm writing one of the major events, but when it comes to in between filler type stuff I'm having a hard time.
