I read this and kept on thinking it would make a great movie... especially where he and John are carrying the coffin and then they start running backwards...I don't know why that scene just stuck with me.

I've only read an older version of this, but I think my favorite memory of it was when Mary Shelley was calling her Frankenstein monster her baby.
If I had any clue, would I be here?

I've only made it to Chapter 9, my eyes aren't allowing me to read further though I would love to, and I am enjoying the dialogue very much :) I will pop back in when I have finished, thanks for letting us have a go at this too :D

Actually, Sigyn, the monster has been completely written out of the book. I know, I'm sad too, but it works better this way.

Yesterday I ordered that CD with all the Writing Excuses episodes and copies of Dan's Blacker Darkness and Brandon's Warbreaker. :)

I love it, but then I've always been a fan of just random humor.  I especially like how the vampires act in the first chapter or so.  I kinda imagine them as monty python-ish, with the vampires talking excitedly to each other while following everything he does and giving little comments and compliments.

I had nearly the exact same thought. "Vampires are Palin's Spanish Inquisition! Brilliant!"

I just finished and I thought this was great fun.  Definitely something that I would pick up in the store, and the character interaction would have to be the most fun I have had with a book in a while. Again, thanks for allowing us to read it. :)

;D Thank so much for sharing that with us. It was really enjoyable. Some parts really made me laugh. It definitely came across as a story crafted with care for the story itself. It kind of felt like Mary and John hijacked your story for a bit there. But she was definitely interesting enough that I was still curious where she was going. Overall it just makes me anticipate the serial killer story even more.
