Listmania: 2008 most anticipated fantasy novels (amazon)

Just wondering if anyone else has seen this, I thought it was pretty cool, and if you notice, hero of ages is number 5!

I don't think that list quite reflects the mass fantasy populice, because Breaking Dawn isn't listed, and I know that's going to be one of (if not the) most popular releases this year.
"The custom of royalty in referring to oneself is to naturally employ the royal 'we'.  We are very happy, we are very sad, we are bored and suffer from ennui.  For a royal prince there's no such word as 'me', It's always 'we'.  So rightfully I should be two or three, don't you agree?"

You could argue that The Hero of Ages is actually number 4 since Wise Man's Fear won't be coming out until sometime in 2009.

And what about book 5 in Novik's Temeraire books, huh?

Uhhm, any Amazon user can make a Listmania list. This list was made by Victoria "starbrow." It shows Brandon has one fan, which is great, but... ;)
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

Ookla's right—anyone can make a Listmania. This is the biased opinion of a semi-fan. If it wasn't, Brisingr would be on it. As would several of the other books here listed.

Still, I know Hero of Ages is my most anticipated novel this year. That's what counts.

Wise Man's Fear is next year's.

Sorry bout that, guessI got all excited over nothing!  :-[

And I don't know about Brisingr, Eldest kind of ruined the series for me.  Eragon was decent, and had potential, but in my opinoin, Eldest was horrid!
