I'm a new reader of Brandon's.  I'm sure that like many people I was very curious as to who was finishing WOT. 

I must say I've loved the Mistborn trilogy!  After reading both books I immediately pre ordered The Hero of Ages, ordered Elantris and used up all of my ink and paper printing Warbreaker. 

Months have gone by and I find myself still doing a mental countdown weekly of how long it will be for Hero of Ages.  :D

Welcome to the board. I understand about counting down; I have a big countdown clock  displayed as my background.

How did you manage that?  I've looked and looked, but I can't find any way to make something like that.

There's a bunch out there, I don't remember which one I am using (I'm at a server computer right now, lol) but with just a quick search I found http://www.timeleft.info/

It has a customizable free version. You'll have to read up on it more though just to make sure it's not adware, etc.

I was doing some system maintenance and couldn't help but visit timewastersguide in the downtimes.

I just put it on and that's depressing  :-[ 3 months - 28 days.

Waiting can be depressing. I can only think about the wait for WOT 12 it feels like ive been waiting for ever already. I dont even want to think about it exept that i saw Brandons AMoL first draft prgress bar at 25% so i guess its not that bad
