Never really thought about it. I guess they would hide in the pits that seem to be everywhere.

Verbal Kint is actually Keiser Soze and is lying about everything.
Dr. Malcom Crowe is actually a ghost.
Old Yeller has to be put down.

i didnt really think about myself but i was re-reading mb1 and kelsier was explaining to vin that mistwraiths were harmless scavengers but from the description it sounds like they are pretty big. so where do they go in the day? i was thinking maybe they camouflage themselves somehow after all they are shapeshifters of a sort. :)

well they don't really need to hide themselves if they stay outside the city walls that much especially when it's always so over cast and there are all those ash-falls

(or at least that's my assumption)

outside  of the city walls are full of skaa plantations and villages. im pretty sure a 10foot multi headed walking blob would cause some excitement if it was seen during the day. :o

I think that there are enough uninhabited places across the empire that they could stay relatively hidden. Just as long as they kept a decent distance from civilization.

I figured since they seem to live mostly during the night, they must sleep during the day.  I assume they would just find a local cave and curl up to relax in it.

Is it still day if you can't really see the sun very well?

Yeah, a lot of land is unpopulated. I always figured they skulked around in the outer areas where no skaa or nobleman would likely be.

Then again, maybe they all go hang out at local hot spots. Places like Carrion Cavern or Blobs in the Mist.
Lord Ruler and Lady Protractor were off on vacation, thus the angles running amok.

They are quite amorphous, so I think they flatten out and hide in some cracks/crevices (May even go flat like a pancake) during the day, and reassume a traveling form at night.

Probably, but why let truth get in the way of good theories?   :-*
