February 2008 Rifftrax Party
« on: January 29, 2008, 11:37:41 PM »
I've been talking about hosting this, but haven't had the chance to organize a party yet. Now I can. My house is available most weekends this month. What days are best for everyone?

We're thinking of doing Eragon or The Fantastic Four.

We may also do games.

We will definitely have a potluck kind of thing. My husband says we'll get a sub sandwich to serve, so a main course would be taken care of, we'd just need side dishes and deserts (we'd take care of drinks/plates).

This particular weekend won't work for me, but any other weekend in February should be fine, as far as I know.

I'm good with any weekend really.

I can bring the Wii (I bought a wireless sensor so it will work with your projector) but I still only have one Guitar but I'm going to see if a friend has bought GH3 for his Wii.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

I will probably come if there are games, but will probably not come for Riftrax.  Maybe.  I'd like to see everyone, though.

I bought both Eragon and Fantastic Four (used) just so I could do Rifftrax with them. So I can provide the movies and Rifftrax. Any weekend works for me (now that I have a new job, yay!)

Any weekend after the 9th will work for me. And if you bring the Wii, Sprig, the boys will be suitably entertained while we watch the movie.

OK, I'm tentatively scheduling it for Saturday the 23rd, beginning at 6ish, movie/games at 8ish until whenever.

So far Eragon is leading in the polls.

So we're at week-of, is this still tentative? I think we should do it Saturday. I can provide both Eragon and the Rifftrax.

This Saturday sounds good to me.

I'm still planning on this Saturday. I have Eragon and the rifftrax, so we're set there, Tage, unless you can provide the trax on an MP3 player or a laptop or something, which would be preferred.

Who else is coming? So I can know how much sammich to buy.

My wife and I are tentatively planning this, pending our ability to find a sitter for Morgan. The older kids can run with the rest of the pack upstairs, but Morgan would just distract from the movie.

I'm bringing chips! Also Gunda and her boyfriend said they're probably coming. I'll probably try to talk Heidi into coming as well.

I bought Fantasic Four in case Brandon doesn't show his face here on Saturday. Cuz, we're saving that Eragon for him cuz he really wants to see it.

And the sandwich is ordered, so I need people to come and eat it all.

If people can bring fruit/veggies/sides that would be fabulous! Oh, and sweet stuff, too, that's important. Everything else is covered.

I know you already have the Riff for Eragon, but I've got it on my iPod and I have a nice iPod sound dock, so I'll bring those just in case it makes things easier.
