I could really see my brother-in-law Curt wearing those.  

Let me put this into context.   To our high school thespian graduation Curt wore a very nice suit and canvas keds that had the batman logo all over them.

I don't really care for the colors
In high school I had a big box full of chuck Taylor All Stars of assorted colors. As long as I had a left shoe and a right shoe, I was good.

My sister mixes and matches her converse, and I think it's awesome.  I only have green ones, so no mixing and matching for me.  Plus they're falling apart.   :-/
