Beowulf

Just saw the 3d version of this. Currently I hated the first half but really liked the second half. Any one else have opinions?

I saw this in 3d at the IMAX. It wasn't bad. I had read the comic that came out the following weeks up to its release and knew most of what was to happen.

I'm still kind of iffy on my take of it. I'm pretty sure it was good. Heck, it was a Neil Gaiman script. I had seen "The Mist" about 15 minutes before this movie and so I was kind of coming out of a real downer movie and into this action movie. (I was already a bit miffed when my friends, having not told me on my way there, that we were going to see two movies.)

Overall, good movie. I have to say having the entire movie in CG didn't hinder it. I enjoyed the voicing and loved the songs that were sung.
