So who's going to finish the series?
If I had any clue, would I be here?

I know that he's planned everything out and has put together copious notes.  I believe that Harriet, his wife/editor, is going to finish the project.  This is just sad.

The Passing of Robert Jordan

It will be ghost-written from his notes just like the works of Robert Ludlum, and David Gemmel (to mention a few).  While I am not a big fan of his later work, there is no denying he changed the genre with his first WoT novel in 1990.

This is very sad news. The man had quite an imagination.

I had heard he'd gone into remission. He was in a lot of pain in his last years, from what I understand, so I hope that now he has found relief from that.

Agreed, my thoughts are with his family. Forget the books, this is a sad human loss.

Vanessa, if we're going to start doing some cross-posts like we discussed, this would be a great one with which to start!

That was great, Brandon. You clearly put a lot of thought into that, and he deserves it.

There's a "buy at Amazon"  link at the bottom.

Eh, the link goes to the Eye of the World, Amazon page.  So, at the very worst, it's false advertising.

Dang it. That's automated, I can't remove that without removing the picture I stuck at the top. I suppose I could remove the picture completely, but I thought it would be nice for reference since Brandon mentions it in his EUOLogy.
