Come to Pittsburgh!
« on: August 28, 2007, 04:13:21 AM »
Brandon, if you ever have an inexplicable urge to visit the East Coast, we here in Pittsburgh would be happy to organize some sort of event for the occasion!  Possibly around the late October-time, where those of us constructing mistcloaks can gleefully show them off to you?

On a side note, you sent a pre-release copy of Mistborn 2 to me through Barnes & Noble (before my separation from the company), and I've been meaning to send you an appropriate note of thanks, but since I haven't yet, this will have to do.  THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!!!!!!!  ;D :D ;D :D ;D

If you ever need an extra proofreader, I would be happy to provide assistance.   ::)

No problem!  I do my best to watch out for booksellers who take the time to recommend my work.

I really want to come to Pittsburgh.  The Joseph Beth Booksellers there has been really nice to me, selling a lot of my books, generally promoting me.  Do I have your email so I can let you know if I ever get there?

Have you ever thought about meeting some people in the game development industry?  I can't help but think that Mistborn would make an awesome RPG... ???

Alas! If only candylion hadn't killed herself so soon, she could've attended this signing in LA!
Lord Ruler and Lady Protractor were off on vacation, thus the angles running amok.

That's why there needs to be a mandatory 24-hour waiting period on suicide. Call your congressman now.

Ha.  Yes, I'll be in LA--and in San Diego, which might be closer than Fresno.

All i needed was to see the title of this thread to get all giddy. YOU MUST COME TO PITTSBURGH!!!

Come to the burgh and enjoy all our unique backwards customs! We'll take you out to Primanti's and get you a sandwich with coleslaw and french fries right on the sandwich!!  ;D  Just be prepared to deal with words that don't exsist, like: "Jeet jet?" , "Yinz",  "Dantan", "Sa'side" and my personal favorite "n'at"
