Hey Brandon and everyone. This is Robert from Fantasy Book Critic. I reviewed "The Well of Ascension" not too long ago and thought I might start a thread with all of the reviews of the book. So far, here's what I have:

As far as the book, I have to say that I enjoyed "The Well of Ascension" but thought it was a little weaker than "The Final Empire". Once again I
loved all of the Allomancy/Feruchemist elements, and what Brandon did with the whole Hero of Ages prophecy was quite ingenious. On the other hand, I missed the caper elements from the first book and wasn't as impressed with the government politics. Of course, that's just my personal opinion, but I think if readers liked "The Final Empire" then they're going to enjoy "The Well of Ascension" and I definitely recommend checking it out...
I'd love to discuss more about the book, so I'll be checking this thread, but just to warn, I'm in the middle of moving, so I might take a while to respond at times...
