So we can order the signed and numbered copies, or do we have to be there to get them? I can't wait until the sample chapters come out. When's Alcatraz coming out, anyways?
I want to be a publisher at Tor Fantasy when I grow up.

You don't have to be there to get them but you need someone to be there for you.

Alcatraz's official date is October 1st but EUOL did just get permission for a pre-release party for that too ,no date has been set yet, but my understading is that it will be at the same Waldonbooks.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

Can I get Nessa to reserve me a copy and get it signed, even though I live here? I'm just kind of lazy.

Holy *&%^* you ARE lazy if you think that's gonna fly.

Of course, I'm already aware of Fell's inability to do things for himself; however, that doesn't mean I need to do them. I already have a husband, you know.

Damn. How disappointed I am. Times like this make me wish that I lived even moderately close to brandon. Even a six hour drive away would've flown with me. But noooooooo...I have to live in the middle of the freaking pacific ocean.

But you might not be when the book comes out so either way do it.

Oh, I can guarantee he'll still be lazy when the book comes out.

I was talking about living in Utah part.  But ya, I know he'll be too lazy to get it himself.

If I lived in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, I wouldn't be complaining.

Finally remembered to call Walden and reserve my 2 copies. yahoo! :) I am excited to see the Well of Ascension in print. Not quite sure if I'll be able to come to the signing in person--I may be driving cross-country, helping my friend move from Boston to L.A. But I have the ever-awesome Nessa has my backup. So I know my copies will be in very good hands.

I have gotten several people to read the first book--my co-worker included. In fact, she says she has been forcing herself *not* to finish it because she doesn't want it to end. heh.

*dances* Woohoo! Finally got plane tickets to Utah for this shindig. It was looking grim for a while when prices went up past $400 but thankfully they came down a bit. Still, this is definately the most expensive book I'll have ever bought. ;D

Ok, ok, I'll give you that. But if it makes you feel better this vacation is, in fact, about visiting my in-laws and friends who still live in Salt Lake, as well as catching one who's coming down from that end of Canada that week. It's a happy mix of coincidene and planning that the pre-release is happening while I'm out there.  :P
