I visit the website most every day and whenever a book tour or signing is mentioned its always in the west. Will Brandon Sanderson ever come to Chicago??

The answer is yes.

Of course, your NEXT question will undoubtedly be "When?"

The answer to that is...well...I'm not sure yet.  I'm trying to work out a Chicago visit, and I do have family there.  But, with the new baby coming this fall....

We shall see.  A lot hinges on the popularity of Alcatraz (mixed with my ability to get Scholastic to pay for some flights.)

I just wrote an email about this... if you come to Chicago, you've got to go the the mall of america in the twin cities... it's only 5 or 6 hours from chicago... I think... although I've never been to Chicago. Then you could do a midwest tour and I would contact someone from the Cities library districts and get some publicity! I would be great.

(I keep bothering you about this since I don't live where you can sign my books still)
Dude, no no really, DUDE!

Yes but then he'd have to drive through Iowa or Wisconsin which no sane person wants to do.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

I used to drive threw Wisconsin every summer to get to my Grandpa's lake house in Minnesota.

It's 12 hours BTW

Any chance of some east coast dates? Preferably Pittsburgh Pa. or Charlotte Nc.? Hell, even Baltimore Md. would work... Just something that requires less than a 10 hour drive.

Most of the TWG(E) members (read, "SaintEhlers") prefer Arlington, VA dates, and a dinner out.
