My main is a dual-wield fighter, so I'd like to avoid rogue since it's so close. What if we're all pallies? Would that be horribly useless as a party? I've never done a caster, so I might go Mage.

I like mage and priest. I was surprised how much damage a priest can do. Mages can teleport/portal. So I would go for that if I were you. That would be very handy in a group.

I can focus my talents on healing, so I can do that. I rather like my priest, but I'm to lvl 30 and don't want to do it all over again.

Well, there's no need for you to make another priest if you've already got one. Pallies have enough helaing to get us by, especially with two of them. I'll make a mage, because doggonit I probably should at some point.

I think I'm going to be a party-pooper and mention that you should move this discussion to an actual WoW thread in the VG board.

I've moved this conversation to the Burning Crusade thread in the video games section.

I had a phone interview with Wizards of the Coast yesterday, and I thought it went pretty well...and apparently it must have gone very well, because they're flying me out to Seattle next week! I don't know the exact day yet, but I'll post it here as soon as I do. Huzzah!

I'm expecting a totally weird interview, like they leave me in a room for 4 hours and tell me to have a thirty page IP bible ready when they come back, designed to appeal to fourth-grade monkeys with severed limbs and alzheimer's disease.

Also, you need to stat out the monkeys that will be reading it.
Congrats!

Ya, congrats.

Though that does spark questions as to what will happen to TWG's review section if you get the job, but that's something to discuss if/when you do get it.

Let me know the details when you know. And hey--I'm jealous. They never flew me out. They just gave me two phone interviews. Though I can't complain, because they still gave me the job anyway.

I have an itinerary: I fly out of Salt Lake Wednesday night, have 7 interviews with various people on Thursday morning, and fly back Thursday night.

I have to assume that they're really interested in me, because that's a pretty hefty financial investment.

You cannot see it, but I am dancing the dance of joy.

Is *that* what your icon monster is doing? I was wondering.

The undead dance of joy involves a great deal of crouching and scowling. Don't mock my culture!

So now it comes down to the possibility of a job at Wizards or the possibility of a job in SLC that pays more, I don't envy that decision of you do get offered both jobs.

Congrats, Fell.  That sounds like a really great opportunity.  Just make sure it doesn't interfere with your WoW schedule.  I mean, we all need our priorities . . .  ;-)
