Either the 28th or 29th will work fine for me.

I would be fine with the 28th or 29th.

I would prefer the 28th

Sounds like Thursday, the 28th is the best day. It's offical, then.

Will there be food? A pot-luck? Or just a dessert buffet or something? The only other TWG party I attended I arrived late, so I don't know how this should work. I would be happy to provide eating utinsels and drinks...

I'll be out of town.  Sad, cause I wanted to meet Nessa.

We'll miss you, Fish!

Nessa, having you provide the utensils and drinks sounds perfect. Pot luck would be cool. I could bring homemade rolls or something and we could have deli meat, cheese, chips, etc. Or we could do a potato bar or taco bar theme thing. mmmm.

We did a crock pot thing at our Halloween party, which was awesome but maybe a little complex for most people, since we only had a couple of crock pots show up. I'd prefer a plan where everyone can actually bring something, which makes sandwiches a good idea. People could bring rolls, cheese, meat, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, hummus, whatever they want to eat on a sandwich. That kind of food is also very portable, but does tend to be a bit crumb-y.

I have children, I can handle crumbs. If that's what people want to eat, we can have that.

I wanted to meet you too, Fish. Too bad you can't come.  :(

Rally 'round the Nessa!!

Hey, girl, I won't desert you. I'll be there if you still want to show a movie (and I'm not stuck on the SW rifftrax thing, btw.) I'm dying to see your killer home theater anyhow. And I'd love to play games afterwards. I dunno how to play "Magic" or most of the "gamer games," but I play a mean Boggle match! ;) Is anyone else still planning on showing up?

I have a spare turkey that I'm planning on roasting for the Rifftrax party. So if we want to maybe assign fixings around that, we can have a nice dinner to go with the movie.

Do we have a head count for the number of people coming?

Vote in the poll so I can get a headcount.

If you are coming, email me so you can either tell me what food you plan to bring or so I can make a food assignment.

Turkey: great! I think it would be great for sandwiches. Maybe Shrain can bring some bread and Fell or someone can bring lettuce/tomatoes, and we need a volunteer for cheese. Anyone, anyone?

I bought a ton of drinks and still need to get paper plates and stuff.

Oh! Thanks very much Sprig. There wasn't an option to add a poll to this thread, so that's why I started a new one.

Figured as much, only admins and moderators can add polls to existing threads but that's an option we can change if Fell wants.
