I want to thank everyone, mostly Nessa and Chimera, for submitting so much over the past month and a half - two months.  There's been so much going on for all the editors and staff that some of us, like me, just completely pushed TWG's front page out of their mind.  Everything, anyone writes is very appreciated.

*Nessa blushes You're welcome.

I've submitted another review. This time for His Majesty's Dragon. Thanks to Sigyn for recommending it. I liked it. I'll probably have reviews for the 2nd and 3rd in the series in the next month or so. They're waiting on my nightstand, rather impatiently, to be read.

Edit: Biiiiggg ooops. In the article I just posted I said "late nineteenth century" which should actually be "early nineteeth century". If you could change that please when you post it, that would be great.

Awww, thanks Sprig! That just made my week! Really, it means a lot to me. *Chimera gives Spriggan a big hug*

Now you'll get more book reviews for sure!

And I'll see if I'm brave/innovative enough to branch off into other areas--like webcomic reviews--so there can be even more content.

I submitted a review of the Illusionist for consideration.

I finished the 2nd book ahead of schedule (at the expense of the Asimov I've been reading....), Throne of Jade, and I just submitted a review.

Ok, there's an article by the Brothers Gibbs entitled "2006: A Summer in Review" in the movies section waiting to be blurbed.

excellent. Nessa's reviews and the Gibbs's article have been assimilated into the schedule.

42, if we can actually get you to do a Nerdery, it will be Nerdery #42, which, honestly, should be cool. Will you do that for next week for me?

Just submitted a review for Asimov's Prelude to Foundation. Later this week I'll have one for The Stolen Child. With these out of the way, now I can begin reading Black Powder War. Horray!

Oh man, I'm reading that book right now. It's actually quite interesting. I'm rather sad I left it at work however.

Whoever it was that wrote the review on Uglies should march down to a bookstore and pick up PEEPS and Midnighter, both by Scott Westerfeld. Anytime I start to submit a review on one of them, I read it over and delete everything in a bout of scaredycatism, so I need one of you people to write them for me. PLEASE!?? :-[

Wow. I've never had a request. It makes me feel...almost special.  ;)

I'll be happy to, but it's going to have to wait. I'm in California and can't get library books--plus it leads to unwanted battles when I spend too much time reading while home visiting my parents.

As for YOU writing the review, I think that's a great idea! Keep trying! If you beat me to it, I won't mind (there are plenty of books out there to review). I was scared at first to write a review, too--I just had to break down and do it. Now, I think it's fun.
