Yes, I was really pleased with how the article turned out and the resolution of our little dispute.

I have another book review on the way. It's written, but I just need to do an edit and I'll submit it Monday morning.

Edit: Ok, I've submitted it for posting whenever you have room.

In other news, I'm toying with the idea of a "coming soon" blurb stickied on the page. I'm not sure I like the idea, but it keeps coming to mind. What do you all think?

Feedback: You're talking about having this on the home page, right? I'm not sure what purpose this would have. To entice readers to come back to the home page? We forum dwellers don't really need it, but if you think it would increase traffic, then I say go for it. A trial run certainly wouldn't hurt, if it's not too hard to do.

Also: I have more time to do book reviews now. I enjoy doing it and I read enough that I could easily do one a week or every other week. I don't know what you're needs are--you may not want to get too many reviews in one area (i.e. books). I could also do webcomic or graphic novel reviews. There is the fact that most if not all of my reviews will be of children's/YA lit, most often fantasy, because that's what I read--and maybe that differentiates my reviews enough, I don't know. Anyway, post on here to let me know what you'd like.

I'm *extremely* disappointed that nobody submitted articles while I was gone. Just so you know.

Newbie question:  Do you primarily look for reviews of various things or anything interesting?

our primary content has historically been reviews. This was because of our origins. In our current position, however, we are ecstatic to get original content in the form of new games, settings, editorials, team builds, ideas, creatures, whatever.

I was waiting for a response. I didn't know you were out of town, though.

I'll try to write a book review by the end of this week.

And I just submitted a book review. A few days late, but better late than never! This one doesn't follow the format. It would've taken me longer and I figured it was better to get it done. It's a review, nonetheless, and of a dang good book, too.

P.S. I put in the tags for italics, since those didn't carry over from copy/paste from the Word document. I used the format we use on the forums--I'm not sure if that is the correct html for a submission. Anyway, heads up.

We'll try to get that up today.

I want to thank everyone, mostly Nessa and Chimera, for submitting so much over the past month and a half - two months.  There's been so much going on for all the editors and staff that some of us, like me, just completely pushed TWG's front page out of their mind.  Everything, anyone writes is very appreciated.

well, it's his fault, true. But not because he changed his mind. But because I actually did my job before he had a mind about it.
