World Fantasy Con 2006
« on: October 12, 2006, 08:32:18 PM »
Okay, I know this is totally last minute, but I'm selling my membership for the World Fantasy Con, so if anyone was feeling like going...I'll sell mine to you for a good price. My pocketbook is seriously hurting right now, so there's no way I can get there. I just hope that someone else can use the membership...maybe someone who lives in Texas?

How much are you selling it for? I'm thinking about going, but I'm waiting on approval from work.

A hundred good? That's fifty bucks off (of course I'm willing to barter). I'm sending you a message right now. That would be cool if this worked out!

Hey Stacer wasn't able to get it...and I thought I had some bites for it after that too, but darn...nothing. Whoo. Anyway, just wanted to let you know it is still up for grabs. Anybody else interested?

For those going to this, keep an eye out for Tiffany Trent, the author of Hallowmere. She'll be reading with a couple other YA authors. More info at her LJ: http://tltrent.livejournal.com/193777.html

It'll be Saturday, 11/4, and she'll be joined by fellow 2k7er Sarah Beth Durst (www.sarahbethdurst.com) and Jo Whittemore, among others.

guitarbabe, I put out feelers on your behalf a couple weeks ago, one to someone who lives in the Austin area, but she already had plans and no one else bit. Sorry I couldn't be of any help.
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!
