Just in case anyone was wondering.

The easiest way to organize this campaign (or any, for that matter) is just to assume we're all part of the same crew, with maybe a couple characters recruited more recently (or impressed into service rather than meeting death from our scurvey crew when we savage their ship and pilfer their cargo)

Just throwing out ideas. I want to BE the captain who has a mistress. And I want her to be a dinosaur who looks like Angelina Jolie.

Just kidding. I see my monkey-boy more as a loyal officer, not anything like first mate, but someone who is trusted and dependable and very capable, but not necessarily the best fighter (though that might be a mistake seeing how Greg kept getting screwed). In d20 terms, he'd be a rogue. Decent enough with a sword, but that's not his focus. Just to finish him off, he'd have great observation skills and intuition. Again in d20 terms: high bluff, sense motive, etc.

I'll exercise my deific authority and make a final judgement: we shall begin a pirate game, and Pleasington shall be the GM, and he and SaintEhlers shall work together on a world that uses Savage Worlds rules and vaguely resembles Pirates of Dark Water.

Pleasington, you pick how many people you want in your game. If there are more interested people who can't get in, we'll start a second game--maybe Star Trek, as that seems to be the next most popular choice, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. After which, or during which, the pirates will burn said bridge.

Well, unless Fell nixes the game, this deserves its own topic now as we work out the preliminaries.

Post the rest of the pirate stuff in Avast Ye!

I'm actually setting it up right this moment. I'm using the avidgamers site, since my friend and one of the players convinced me to. If anyone's interested, it's at www.avidgamers.com/behemoth
Thanks anyway, though.
