Well, after ten and a half months without a story sale, I came home to find a contract from Analog in my mailbox.  They're buying my story "Upgrade" for their Probability Zero feature.

I emailed the electronic version of "Upgrade" to Analog and asked which issue the story would be in. Turns out it will be in the December issue, so I won't have to wait as long as I thought.

Maybe they needed to fill a certain number of pages, and your story fit right in.
